I received my bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in writing from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, and I am a member of the Sigma Tau Delta English Honor Society. I was the managing editor of The Baylorian, the university’s literary publication for a few semesters, and I had a few original pieces published in the journal.
I have been a college-level writing tutor for three years and currently work at a community college writing center where I help students plan, draft, and revise their composition and literature essays. I also teach the students how to document sources using MLA and APA formats and offer guidance to students who need help understanding how to navigate college courses.
I am also a freelance editor loosely associated with The Next Chapter Publishing house in Dallas, Texas. I assist my clients in making their short fiction manuscript or document the very best that they can be. I work with anyone who has a piece of writing that they would like to have edited, whether or not they are going to self-publish.
